What we are building.

SpendAssure is AI spend management software in development for finance and platform teams to assign owners, approve budgets and manage provider spending controls.

The proposed workflow connects a spending resource to an operational owner, a budget approver and the control the provider supports. The intended users coordinate those decisions across API projects and enterprise workspaces.

Self-hosted delivery is planned first. Provider credentials stay with a customer-side connector and applications continue calling providers directly. Explore the workflow and its security boundaries.

We use AI cost governance to describe this operational work: deciding who has spending authority, recording approvals and reviewing whether the available controls still match those decisions. Visibility supports the process; it does not replace the decision.

Where the product stands.

The connector and core service foundations exist. Production provider integrations, identity controls and operational hardening remain in development. Product visuals use labelled sample data. An early-access enquiry starts a scope discussion; it does not create access to a finished product.

The guides are useful independently of the proposed software. Teams can apply the inventory, approval and review process in their own tools today.

How we research provider controls.

SpendAssure publishes and maintains this guide library. Provider claims are checked against linked primary documentation. Each provider guide shows a review date and distinguishes that review from customer-account testing. Examples and diagrams are original explanatory material, with sample amounts labelled as illustrative.

We separate the existence of a provider setting from permission to read or change it through an API. Unverified capabilities remain open questions. A source describing one product does not establish the same behaviour in another product from the same vendor.

Our four control classes are a proposed reporting framework, not a certification. Manual attestations are separate from API-verified configuration and expire after 30 days by default in the proposed workflow. Read the control definitions.

We aim to review volatile provider facts monthly and when a relevant change is reported. Dates are updated after substantive review, not automatically on every deployment.
